“Metamorphic Connections”

The "Metamorphic Connections" project in North Corktown aims to create a dynamic community fostering socialization, creativity, and engagement. To achieve this, it establishes adaptable interaction spaces and community programs, utilizing an "architecture metamorphosis" approach. This allows shared spaces to adjust to changing community needs, from urban site to housing unit scales (12.5' x 12.5' module). The project prioritizes pedestrian-friendly streets, encouraging walking and cycling, facilitating shared spaces at various levels. The kit of parts comprises community components, creating flexible spaces at different scales.
