“Strike Housing”

Off-strike Hours Strikes are defined as a collective action undertaken by a group of workers, typically represented by a labor union, as a form of protest for improved working conditions, higher wages, and changes in workplace policies. Strike Housing proposes a facilitated community that seeks to expand on the organic humanism in architecture. The existing residential and commercial buildings are repurposed as communication nodes, educational workshops, and sources of legal and medical aid for those who occupy the space whereas the newly added building focuses on the housing and livelihood aspects of of strike housing.
