While exploring Fleming Creek, I marveled at streams dancing with rocks and fallen trees. Delving into the magic of river erosion, and its importance for the healthiness of the river I found inspiration for the building design. Mirroring the natural serpentine flow of rivers, every corner of the design subtly engages visitors in a dance-like experience. The stone structures guide the meandering stream and are connected by paths and a serpentine roof, harmonizing with nature's rhythm. The program of the dance center is split into individual buildings laid along the banks of the creek ranging from bigger stones for the auditorium, dance practice spaces and smaller ones for bathrooms.
