The Loom The Loom is a co-living, co-working community which facilitates wellness through cross pollination and collaboration in learning; it acts as an index of creative and educational efforts that take place here over time. Eight fellows from different creative sectors come together for six months to a year to be immersed in a landscape where the studio goes beyond the boundary of the walls. The overlapping, curated field conditions on the site allow the landscape to transform with respect to each user. Currently, the center utilizes the process of developing flax to bridge the work of botanists, textile designers, writers, and artists through growth, study, and fabrication.
