“Transcend Boundaries : The Porous Border Experiment”

The project explores SHADOW through the POROSITY of urban fabric layers, enabling the city to breathe. By reimagining the images of the current border areas between the US and Mexico, the project experiments the possibilities of porousness to improve environmental performance and human activity. One suggestion is to replace the wall with no-human parks, where the shadow embraces biodiversity. Second, the shadow sustains wellness. Micro-diffused elements offer varying levels of shadows with essential services and community programs as responsive and agile facilitators.
